The Mission of Waterway Music And Education
We are created to play
Waterway Music and Education was started in 2021 by a local family with the goals of entrepreneurship and using their gifts and talents to help others and provide for their family. The name “Waterway” was birthed because of our location to the Intercoastal Waterway in Southeastern North Carolina, and because “Jesus is the water and Jesus is the way”.
The owners have bachelor’s degrees and certificates in the background of Music, Education, and International Studies, along with former music-focused jobs and jobs in various school teaching positions.
Waterway Music And Education offers a wide range of music education services, including private lessons, group classes, workshops, and performance opportunities. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to guiding students of all ages and skill levels on their musical journey. We take pride in offering a personalized approach to music education, tailoring our programs to meet the unique needs and goals of each student.

Music for Anyone
Our goal is to provide affordable music education and affordable instruments to our community so that anyone can learn to play. Our lessons are tailored to the individual to help every student succeed no matter their age or skill level. We offer lessons for beginners and experts, for young children and retired communities, and everyone in between.
Fun and Excellence
Waterway Music And Education is dedicated to both fun and excellence in music. Our recitals are designed to be a joyful celebration of what the students have learned while working to present our very best. By challenging students to excellence, we seek to create enriching musical experiences and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Brunswick County.
